This is the western span of the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge. It hasn't been replaced, and most likely won't be any time soon. This section stretches from Treasure Island to the City and is actually quite an engineering feat in its own right, although far overshadowed by it's golden cousin.

Graduating from San Jose State University with a BS in photojournalism, Don Hoekwater moved away from photographing events to more artistic and creative imaging. While his photographs retain their realism, Don expands the colors and details that result in beautifully stunning views full of color and awe. The vision is to enhance what nature and the surrounding world provide without taking away any of the wonder and majesty of our world.
