Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The waves at Drake's Beach in the Point Reyes National Seashore near San Francisco are almost always perfect, though small. The beach is fun to visit and this day was no exception.
Graduating from San Jose State University with a BS in photojournalism, Don Hoekwater moved away from photographing events to more artistic and creative imaging. While his photographs retain their realism, Don expands the colors and details that result in beautifully stunning views full of color and awe. The vision is to enhance what nature and the surrounding world provide without taking away any of the wonder and majesty of our world. When working with people the goal is to also enhance the beauty and dignity already within each and every one of us.
