Description
The beautiful Eastern Sierra Nevada as seen from the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, California. This is my place to rejuvenate and recharge. I was recently here on my way to Death Valley and loved how the clouds were dancing with the peaks. A major storm was approaching and these may have been the picket line preceding the tempest.
The Eastern Sierra has always held a special place for me. Being remote and untamed, they're what I love most about nature, remembering that we are only visitors.
