Description

While rolling through Theodore
Roosevelt National Park in Western North Dakota, I
spotted this magnificent bison off in the distance. I
stopped, and then watched him saunter towards me. I
was the first to notice him but eventually other vehicles
stopped. He seemed curious about all the attention so
picked up his pace toward us.

At some point, still at a safe distance, he stopped,
checked everyone out, nibbled a bit on the grass, then
headed back whence he came.

Just a beautiful creature.
