Burney Falls in the Northern Sierras near the town of Burney as seen from the trail down to the base of the falls. Even with the current drought they were full and gorgeous. Quite a breath-taking scene.

Graduating from San Jose State University with a BS in photojournalism, Don Hoekwater moved away from photographing events to more artistic and creative imaging. While his photographs retain their realism, Don expands the colors and details that result in beautifully stunning views full of color and awe.
